Rewa Today Desk: रीवा और मऊगंज जिले के आठ विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में 17 नवम्बर को प्रात: 7 बजे से शाम 6 बजे तक मतदान होगा। इनमें विधानसभा क्षेत्र रीवा, गुढ़, मनगवां, देवतालाब, मऊगंज, त्योंथर, सेमरिया तथा सिरमौर शामिल हैं। इन विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में बनाये गये 2014 मतदान केन्द्रों में 18 लाख 33 हजार 889 मतदाता अपने मताधिकार का उपयोग करेंगे। मतदान की सुविधा के लिए मतदाताओं को बीएलओ द्वारा मतदाता पर्ची दी गयी है। मतदाता पर्ची तथा ईपिक कार्ड अथवा 12 में से कोई एक फोटोयुक्त पहचान पत्र के साथ मतदाता मतदान कर सकते हैं। उचित पहचान के बिना मतदान का अवसर नहीं मिलेगा।

इस संबंध में कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्रीमती प्रतिभा पाल ने बताया कि 17 नवम्बर को जिले में कुल 9 लाख 57 हजार 991 पुरूष मतदाता तथा 8 लाख 75 हजार 881 महिला मतदाता अपने मताधिकार का उपयोग करेंगे। मतदान दल में शामिल कर्मचारियों तथा सुरक्षा बलों के सदस्यों द्वारा डाकमत पत्र से मतदान किया जा चुका है। कलेक्टर ने बताया है कि मतदान केन्द्र के 100 मीटर की परिधि में मोबाइल फोन का उपयोग पूरी तरह से प्रतिबंधित रहेगा। इस लिए कोई भी मतदाता मतदान केन्द्र जाते समय मोबाइल फोन साथ न ले जाय। केवल प्रेक्षक, रिटर्निंग आफीसर, जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी, सुरक्षा में तैनात अधिकारियों को ही मोबाइल फोन के उपयोग की अनुमति है। इनके फोन भी मतदान केन्द्र के अंदर साइलेंट रहेंगे।

मतदान केन्द्र से 100 मीटर की परिधि में निजी अथवा सार्वजनिक स्थान पर किसी भी तरह का प्रचार प्रतिबंधित रहेगा। इस परिधि में चुनाव प्रचार से जुड़े कोई पोस्टर, बैनर नहीं लगेंगे। मतदान केन्द्र से 100 मीटर की परिधि में लाउडस्पीकर तथा अन्य ध्वनि विस्तार यंत्रों का उपयोग भी प्रतिबंधित रहेगा। मतदाताओं को बीएलओ द्वारा मतदाता पर्ची प्रदान की गयी है। यदि कोई अन्य व्यक्ति अशासकीय तौर पर मतदाता पर्ची वितरण करता है तो उसे मतदान केन्द्र से 200 मीटर के बाद अपना बूथ बनाना होगा। मतदाता पर्ची में उम्मीदवार का नाम अथवा चुनाव चिन्ह नहीं रहेगा। रिटर्निंग आफीसर की लिखित अनुमति के बाद ही ऐसे बूथ बनाये जा सकेंगे। इन निर्देशों का उल्लंघन करने पर दण्ड संहिता की धारा-188 एवं लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम 1951 के प्रावधानों के तहत प्रकरण दर्ज कर कार्यवाही की जाएगी.

Today 1833889 voters will vote in 2014 polling stations of the district.

Rewa 16 November 2023. Voting will be held in eight assembly constituencies of Rewa and Mauganj districts on November 17 from 7 am to 6 pm. These include assembly constituencies Rewa, Gudh, Mangawan, Devtalab, Mauganj, Teonthar, Semaria and Sirmaur. 18 lakh 33 thousand 889 voters will exercise their franchise in 2014 polling stations set up in these assembly constituencies. For the convenience of voting, voters have been given voter slips by BLOs. Voters can vote with voter slip and EPIC card or any one of the 12 photo identity cards. Without proper identification you will not get the opportunity to vote.

In this regard, Collector and District Election Officer Mrs. Pratibha Pal said that on November 17, a total of 9 lakh 57 thousand 991 male voters and 8 lakh 75 thousand 881 female voters will exercise their franchise in the district. Voting has been done through postal ballot by the employees and members of the security forces included in the polling team. The Collector has said that the use of mobile phones will be completely banned within a radius of 100 meters of the polling station. Therefore, no voter should take a mobile phone with him while going to the polling station. Only observers, returning officers, district election officers, security officers are allowed to use mobile phones. Their phones will also remain silent inside the polling station.

Any kind of campaigning in any private or public place within a radius of 100 meters from the polling station will be prohibited. No posters or banners related to election campaign will be put up in this perimeter. The use of loudspeakers and other sound amplification devices will also be prohibited within a radius of 100 meters from the polling station. Voter slips have been provided to the voters by the BLO. If any other person distributes voter slips unofficially, he will have to set up his booth after 200 meters from the polling station. There will be no candidate’s name or election symbol in the voter slip. Such booths can be set up only after the written permission of the Returning Officer. In case of violation of these instructions, action will be taken by registering a case under Section 188 of the Penal Code and the provisions of the Public Representation Act 1951.
