रीवा जिले का सबसे पुराने और पहले रेलवे स्टेशन जिसे हम और आप डभौरा के नाम से जानते हैं उसका नाम बदलने का फैसला कर लिया गया है सामान्य प्रशासन विभाग मध्यप्रदेश के अनुसार इसका नया नाम गुलाबगंज विकासखंड जवा होगा इस बारे में आदेश कार्यालय कलेक्टर जिला रीवा के पास तक पहुंच गया है डभौरा गांव का नाम बदलकर गुलाब गंज कर दिया गया यह किस मकसद से किया गया यह तो ज्ञात नहीं हो सका, परन्तु पुराने गांव का नाम बदल दिए जाने से काफी आश्चर्य हो रहा है लोगों को किसी ने कभी भी इस बारे में मांग भी नहीं की ना ही कभी कुछ सुनाई दिया था कि डभौरा का नाम बदला जा रहा है इसे गुलाबगंज किया जा रहा है शासकीय आदेश में इसे मुख्यमंत्री की घोषणा के रूप में दिखाया गया है माना जा रहा है रीवा महाराज गुलाब सिंह उस इलाके में कुछ दिन रहे थे जिसकी वजह से यह नामकरण किया गया है डभौरा किसी जमाने में जाना जाता था रणजीत राय दीक्षित के रूप में जिन्होंने रणमत  सिंह की मदद की थी

रणमत सिंह को डभौरा में शरण दी अंग्रेजों से युद्ध किया और उस युद्ध में वीरगति को प्राप्त हुए कुछ लोगों का कहना है अगर नाम ही बदलना रणजीत नगर में क्या बुराई थी लोग आज भी रणजीत राय दीक्षित के किस्से गर्व से सुनाते हैं उनके वंशज भी मौजूद हैं वहीं दूसरी ओर लालगांव हायर सेकेंडरी विद्यालय का नाम बदलकर रुकमणी रमण प्रताप सिंह के नाम पर किया जा रहा है यह फैसला निश्चित रूप से सबके गले के नीचे उतर सकता है रुकमणी रमण प्रताप सिंह वह नाम जिसने मनगवां जैसे इलाके के लिए बहुत कुछ किया उस इलाके के अपने समय के सबसे बड़े नेता के रूप में जाने जाते थे लाल रुकमणी रमण प्रताप स्कूल का नाम बदलने के लिए मनगवां विधायक ने पैरवी की थी वही मुख्यमंत्री की घोषणा के अनुसार डभौरा का नाम बदला गया है ऐसा मध्य प्रदेश शासन के सामान्य विभाग से जारी आदेश में कहा गया है हम सब जानते थे जीके में पढ़ते थे रीवा जिले के पहले रेलवे स्टेशन का नाम क्या है जवाब में हम डभौरा कहते थे अब उसे गुलाबगंज कहां जाएगा
