 कलेक्टर श्रीमती प्रतिभा पाल ने लोक स्वास्थ्य यांत्रिकी विभाग के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए हैं कि जिले के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में स्थापित हैण्डपंपों का सुधार कराते हुए पेयजल की व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित कराई जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि कहीं से भी हैण्डपंप बिगड़ने की सूचना प्राप्त होते ही तत्काल हैण्डपंप सुधार कराया जाए। साथ ही प्राप्त शिकायतों को पंजी में संधारित करते हुए संबंधित उपखण्ड के सहायक यंत्री को प्रेषित करें। तदुपरांत सुधार का दिनांक भी पंजी में अंकित किया जाना सुनिश्चित कराएं। उन्होंने कहा कि बनाए गए एसओपी के अनुसार कार्य करें तथा मई माह तक की लंबित शिकायतों को एक सप्ताह में निराकृत करें। उन्होंने कार्यपालन यंत्री को निर्देशित किया कि जिन जनपदों में शिकायतें निराकृत न हों वहाँ के वेंडर को तत्काल बदलने की कार्यवाही की जाए। बैठक् में सीईओ जिला पंचायत डॉ सौरभ सोनवणे, कार्यपालन यंत्री पीएचई शरद सिंह सहित सहायक यंत्री, उपयंत्री तथा संबंधित जनपदों के वेंडर उपस्थित रहे।

 He said that the handpump should be rectified immediately as soon as the information about the deterioration of the handpump is received from anywhere. Also, after maintaining the complaints received in the register, send them to the assistant engineer of the concerned sub-division. Thereafter, ensure that the date of correction is also mentioned in the register. He said that work according to the SOP prepared and resolve the pending complaints till the month of May in a week. He directed the Executive Engineer that action should be taken to replace the vendors immediately in the districts where the complaints are not resolved. CEO District Panchayat Dr. Saurabh Sonawane, Executive Engineer PHE Sharad Singh along with Assistant Engineer, Deputy Engineer and vendors of the concerned districts were present in the meeting.

Control room established – A control room has been set up for the improvement of handpumps and other arrangements related to drinking water. In Rewa, complaints can be lodged on Ravi Shankar Prajapati’s phone numbers 07662-297441 and 9827677533 and Gorelal Sharma’s mobile number 9424778262. Whereas in Mauganj, complaints can be made on Dilip Kumar Saket’s mobile number 9993788577 and Dinesh Kol’s mobile number 9644632404.
