विदेश से आने वाले फोन  नंबर इंडोनेशिया माली वियतनाम जैसी जगहों से ज्यादा आते हैं ठग इन कॉल को करने के लिए वीआईपी नेटवर्क का सहारा लेते हैं क्योंकि किसी भी देश से कहीं भी व्हाट्सएप पर मुफ्त में कॉल होती जालसाज इसी सुविधा का लाभ लेते हैं ऐसे में जालसाज किसी भी देश में बैठकर इंटरनेशनल नंबर खरीद कर इस तरह की जालसाजी की घटनाओं को अंजाम दे रहे हैं लोगों के सामने यूट्यूब पर लाइक बटन प्रेस करने से होने वाली शुरुआत के बाद उन्हें अच्छे प्रलोभन दिए जाते हैं बेहतर जॉब लॉटरी इनाम की बात कही जाती है  लोग आसानी से उनके बहकावे में आ जाते हैं जब लोग इन ठगों के जाल में बुरी तरीके से फंस जाते हैं तो कॉल करने और टेलीग्राम चैनल में शामिल होने के लिए उन्हें कहा जाता है जिसके बाद आसानी से उनको जालसाज ठगी का निशाना बना लेते हैं एक बार फ्रॉड होने के बाद कॉल को ट्रेस करना काफी मुश्किल काम होता है एक्सपर्ट के लिए भी पुलिस को भी कॉल ट्रेस करने के लिए काफी कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ता है व्हाट्सएप की पुरानी रिपोर्ट पर नजर डाली जाए तो 1 मार्च 2023 से 31 मार्च 2023 तक फर्जी कॉल से जुड़े 4715906 अकाउंट पर पाबंदी लगाई गई वहीं दूसरी ओर ट्रूकॉलर की रिपोर्ट भी इसी ओर इशारा करती है हर दिन एक यूजर को 17 स्कैम कॉल्स आते हैं स्कैम प्रभावित देशों में भारत का नंबर काफी ऊपर है या यूं कहा जाए अंडर 10  है तो कोई गलत नहीं होगा एक्सपर्ट कहते हैं महत्वपूर्ण जानकारियां किसी के साथ भी साझा ना करिए क्योंकि सभी जगह पर आपने जानकारियां दे रखी है जरूरत पड़ने पर आप संबंधित कार्यालय में जाकर जानकारी दे सकते हैं या उनसे फोन करके कंफर्म कर सकते हैं कि उनके कौन से कागजात काम है कौन सी जानकारी अधूरी है खासतौर से बात की जाए बैंक की तो कोई भी डाटा किसी को नहीं देना चाहिए
