खेल और युवा कल्याण विभाग के तात्वाधान में प्रति वर्ष की भांति इस वर्ष भी ग्रीष्मकालीन खेल प्रशिक्षण शिविर का आयोजन कलेक्टर श्रीमती प्रतिभा पाल एवं पुलिस अधीक्षक  विवेक सिंह, के मार्गदर्शन में एक मई से 31 मई तक 30 दिवसीय ग्रीष्मकालीन खेल प्रशिक्षण सांसद जनार्दन मिश्रा एवं पूर्व मंत्री एवं विधायक  राजेन्द्र शुक्ला एवं नगर पालिका अध्यक्ष  व्यंकटेश पाण्डेय, की उपस्थिति में सम्पन्न हुआ।इस अवसर पर सांसद  ने अपने उदबोधन में खिलाड़ियों से कहा कि वे पूरी तन्मयता के साथ मेहनत करें और विभिन्न खेलों में दक्ष होकर अपनी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन जिला, प्रदेश एवं देश में करें। खिलाड़ियों ने पूरी मेहनत के साथ एक माह तक लगातार प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त किया है वे खेलों में पूरी तरह से दक्ष हो गये होंगे। पूर्व मंत्री एवं विधायक श्री राजेन्द्र शुक्ला ने समस्त प्रशिक्षणार्थियो एवं अभिभावकों का 30 दिवसीय ग्रीष्मकालीन खेल प्रशिक्षण शिविर का सफलतापूर्वक आयोजन के लिए शुभकानाये दी। उन्होंने कहा कि रीवा जिले के खिलाड़ियों को खेल सुविधा मिलेगी तथा अगले माह में राष्ट्रीय स्तर का फुटबाल मैच स्पोर्टस कम्पलेक्स मैदान में आयोजन कराया जायेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि शीघ्र ही खिलाड़ियों को सर्वसुविधायुक्त खेल स्टेडियम मिलेगा।

इस दौरान ग्रामीण क्षेत्र स्तर पर लगाये गये शिविर में प्रशिक्षकों को प्रमाण-पत्र प्रदान किये गये। रायपुर कर्चुलियान की श्रीमती ज्योति सिंह, सिरमौर से श्रीमती वंदना सिंह. गंगेव से विकास कुमार सोनी, जवा से  नीरज कुमार द्विवेदी, हनुमना से श्रीमती पुष्पादेवी पटेल, त्योथर से श्रीमती प्रतिमा खरे, मऊगंज से अमर पासी, नईगढ़ी से  रामनरेश कोल, को सम्मानित किया गया। बास्केटबाल में सुश्री राखी सिंह चौहान, सुश्री प्राँची पाण्डेय, सुश्री अंजली रजक, सुश्री हर्षिता पाण्डेय, व्हॉलीबाल में  एम के मिश्रा, अमर सिंह जाटव,  धीरेन्द्र सिंह कर्चुली,  राजपाल सिंह, कबड्डी में मोहन लाल शर्मा, विजय सिंह,दिलीप सिंह, कराते में  राघवेन्द्र पाण्डेय, तोषराम कनोजे, एथलेटिक्स में  विष्णु तिवारी,  संतोष मिश्रा.  रमेश कुमार तिवारी, हैण्डबाल में वीरेन्द्र कुमार शुक्ला, राघवेन्द्र सिंह, टेबल टेनिस में असद खान,  विनोद तिवारी, योगा में सुश्री शुभी मिश्रा, बुशू में  संजीव पाण्डेय, खो-खो में  अनिल सिंह अर्चना सिंह, क्रिकेट में एरिल एन्थोनी, सकील खान, फुटबाल में  कासिम खान एवं मोहनलाल शुक्ला का सम्मान किया गया। संभागीय खेल और युवा कल्याण अधिकारी श्री एम. के. धौलपुरी ने अतिथियों को स्मृति चिन्ह भेट कर  प्रशिक्षकों सहित प्रिन्ट एवं इलेक्ट्रिानिक मीडिया एवं खिलाड़ियो का आभार प्रदर्शन किया। राष्ट्रगान के साथ कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न हुआ।

Like every year, under the aegis of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department, summer sports training camp was organized this year also under the guidance of Collector Mrs. Pratibha Pal and Superintendent of Police Vivek Singh, 30-day summer sports training from May 1 to May 31. Done in the presence of Minister and MLA Rajendra Shukla and Municipality President Venkatesh Pandey.On this occasion, in his speech, the MP asked the sportspersons to work hard with full dedication and be proficient in various sports and showcase their talent in the district, state and country. The players have received continuous training for a month with full hard work, they must have become completely proficient in the games.Former Minister and MLA Mr. Rajendra Shukla gave good wishes to all the trainees and parents for successfully organizing the 30-day summer sports training camp. He said that the players of Rewa district would get sports facilities and in the next month a national level football match would be organized at the Sports Complex ground. He said that soon the sportspersons would get a fully equipped sports stadium.

During this, certificates were given to the trainers in the camps organized at the rural area level. Mrs. Jyoti Singh from Raipur Curchulian, Mrs. Vandana Singh from Sirmaur. Vikas Kumar Soni from Gangev, Neeraj Kumar Dwivedi from Jawa, Mrs. Pushpadevi Patel from Hanumana, Mrs. Pratima Khare from Tyothar, Amar Pasi from Mauganj, Ramnaresh Kol from Naigarhi were honored. Ms. Rakhi Singh Chauhan, Ms. Pranchi Pandey, Ms. Anjali Rajak, Ms. Harshita Pandey in Basketball, MK Mishra, Amar Singh Jatav, Dhirendra Singh Karchuli, Rajpal Singh in Volleyball, Mohan Lal Sharma, Vijay Singh, Dilip Singh in Karate Raghavendra Pandey, Toshram Kanoje, Vishnu Tiwari, Santosh Mishra in athletics. Ramesh Kumar Tiwari, Virendra Kumar Shukla in Handball, Raghvendra Singh, Asad Khan in Table Tennis, Vinod Tiwari, Ms. Shubhi Mishra in Yoga, Sanjeev Pandey in Bushu, Anil Singh Archana Singh in Kho-Kho, Ariel Anthony, Sakil Khan in Cricket, Kasim Khan and Mohanlal Shukla were honored in football. Divisional Sports and Youth Welfare Officer Shri M.K. Dhaulpuri thanked the print and electronic media and players along with the coaches by presenting mementos to the guests. The program ended with the national anthem.
