निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा चुनाव कार्यक्रम घोषित करने के साथ ही चुनाव की आदर्श आचरण संहिता जिले भर में लागू हो गई है

Rewa Today Desk : जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने कहा कि विधानसभा चुनाव पूरी तरह से निष्पक्ष संपन्न कराये जायेंगे। विधानसभा चुनाव के लिये निर्वाचन आयोग के निर्देशों के अनुसार सभी तैयारियां की जा रही हैं। सम्पत्ति विरूपण अधिनियम, कोलाहल नियंत्रण अधिनियम सहित विभिन्न वैधानिक प्रावधानों के तहत लगातार कार्यवाही की जा रही है। कलेक्टर ने बताया कि सभी मतदान केन्द्रों में पानी, छाया, शौचालय आदि की व्यवस्था कर दी गयी है। दिव्यांग मतदाता तथा 80 साल से अधिक आयु के मतदाता डाकमत पत्र के माध्यम से घर से भी मतदान कर सकते हैं। मतदान केन्द्र में इन्हे मतदान की पूरी सुविधा दी जायेगी।

मतदाता सूची पूरी शुद्धता से तैयार की गयी है। जिले में कितने हैं मतदाता और किस तरीके के हैं सभी मतदान केन्द्रों में बीएलओ ने सराहनीय कार्य करके पात्र व्यक्तियों के नाम जोड़े हैं। मतदाता सूची के पुनरीक्षण में 66 हजार युवा मतदाता तथा 62 हजार से अधिक महिला मतदाता के नाम शामिल किये गये हैं। महिलाओं के बड़ी संख्या के नाम शामिल करने से लिंगानुपात 914 हो गया है। जिले में मतदाताओं की कुल संख्या 18 लाख 35 हजार 130 है। इसमें 9 लाख 58 हजार 545 पुरूष तथा 8 लाख 76 हजार 560 महिला मतदाता हैं। दोनों जिलों में कुल 2014 मतदान केन्द्र बनाये गये हैं।

कलेक्टर ने बताया कि चुनाव के दौरान कानून व्यवस्था की कड़ी निगरानी की जायेगी। अब 9 हजार से अधिक आदतन अपराधियों तथा असामाजिक तत्वों के विरूद्ध प्रतिबंधात्मक कार्यवाही की गयी है। सभी प्रमुख मार्गों पर चेकपोस्ट बना दिये गये हैं। इनमें पुलिस और राजस्व के साथ-साथ आबकारी, वन तथा कामर्सियल टैक्स के अधिकारी भी तैनात रहेंगे। चुनाव प्रचारों पर निगरानी, पेड न्यूज तथा सोशल मीडिया पर निगरानी के लिए टीम तैनात कर दी गयी है। बैठक में अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक अनिल सोनकर ने विधानसभा चुनाव में किये जा रहे सुरक्षा प्रबंधों की जानकारी दी। बैठक में जिला पंचायत के मुख्य कार्यपालन अधिकारी डॉ. सौरभ सोनवणे, अपर कलेक्टर शैलेन्द्र सिंह, उप जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्रेयश गोखले, जनसंपर्क अधिकारी उमेश तिवारी तथा शिवप्रसन्न शुक्ला मौजूद रहे.

With the announcement of the election schedule by the Election Commission, the Model Code of Conduct for Elections has come into force across the district.

The District Election Officer said that the assembly elections will be conducted in a completely fair manner. All preparations are being made for the assembly elections as per the instructions of the Election Commission. Continuous action is being taken under various statutory provisions including Defacement of Property Act, Noise Control Act. The Collector said that arrangements for water, shade, toilets etc. have been made in all the polling stations. Disabled voters and voters above 80 years of age can also vote from home through postal ballot.

They will be given full voting facilities at the polling station. The voter list has been prepared with complete accuracy. How many voters are there in the district and what are the types of voters? BLOs have done commendable work in all the polling stations and have added the names of eligible persons. In the revision of the voter list, names of 66 thousand youth voters and more than 62 thousand women voters have been included. With the inclusion of a large number of women’s names, the sex ratio has increased to 914. The total number of voters in the district is 18 lakh 35 thousand 130. There are 9 lakh 58 thousand 545 male voters and 8 lakh 76 thousand 560 female voters.

A total of 2014 polling stations have been set up in both the districts.
The Collector said that law and order will be strictly monitored during the elections. Now preventive action has been taken against more than 9 thousand habitual criminals and anti-social elements. Checkposts have been made on all major routes. Along with police and revenue, excise, forest and commercial tax officers will also be deployed in these. A team has been deployed to monitor election campaigns, paid news and social media.

In the meeting, Additional Superintendent of Police Anil Sonkar gave information about the security arrangements being made during the assembly elections. Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Dr. Saurabh Sonawane, Additional Collector Shailendra Singh, Deputy District Election Officer Shreyash Gokhale, Public Relations Officer Umesh Tiwari and Shivprasanna Shukla were present in the meeting.
