पंचायतों का भ्रष्टाचार सर चढ़कर बोलने लगा रीवा जिले के जनपद पंचायत गंगेव के ग्राम पंचायत सुरा के सरपंच कृष्णावती तिवारी सचिव विश्वनाथ शुक्ला और रोजगार सहायक पुष्पेंद्र तिवारी के द्वारा किये गए भ्रष्टाचार से परेशान होकर जिला प्रशासन रीवा जिला पंचायत रीवा को जानकारी देकर संघर्ष समिति के अध्यक्ष

जिवेंद्र तिवारी ने आने वाले 15 अगस्त को आत्मदाह करने की घोषणा कर दी है यह अपने आप में काफी चिंता का विषय है
ग्राम पंचायत सुरा में जनता सरपंच कृष्णावती के किए गए भ्रष्टाचार से गांव की जनता काफी आक्रोशित है इलाके के लोगों का सबसे ज्यादा गुस्सा पीसीसी सड़क में सरपंच के द्वारा भरी बरसात में सड़क में मिट्टी डलवाकर आने जाने का रास्ता बंद कराने को लेकर है जिसकी वजह से रास्ता बंद हो गया रास्ता बंद हुआ तो फोर व्हीलर टू व्हीलर आने जाने लायक रास्ता नहीं रहा अब इलाके के लोग गाड़ी घर से दूर खड़ी करेंगे पैदल घर आएंगे जाएंगे अब जनता गाड़ी से सायकल से अपने घर तक नहीं पहुंच पा रही है एक तरफ प्रधानमंत्री के नल जल योजना की धज्जिया उड़ाई जा रही है गरीबो के घरो के नल जल के टोटी कनेक्शनो को JCB से दबाकर यहां पर भी मिट्टी डलवा दी गई इतना ही नहीं ग्राम पंचायत में JCB मशीन का इस्तमाल कर गरीबों की बनी मनारेगा योजना की भी धज्जिया उड़ाई गइ है गांव वालों का आरोप है मिट्टी कुछ जगह पर कितनी ऊंची डाल दी गई कि पानी की टोटी अभी उसके अंदर दब गई है जबकि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की महत्वकांक्षी योजना हर घर जल के तहत पानी घर तक पहुंचना था आप छोटी ही मिट्टी के नीचे है तो उस घर को पानी कैसे मिलेगा अपने आप में बड़ा सवाल यही है जिसके चलते ग्रामीण जन आत्मदाह करने की बात कर रहे हैं

It is the allegation of the villagers that the soil has been put so high at some places that the water tap is still buried inside it, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious plan was to reach every house under water. How will that house get water is a big question in itself, due to which the villagers are talking about self-immolation.
