भारतीय पहलवान इन दिनों कुश्ती को छोड़कर अपने अस्तित्व की लड़ाई लड़ रहे हैं संघर्ष करते नजर आ रहे हैं भारतीय जनता पार्टी के एक सांसद के खिलाफ भारतीय जनता पार्टी का वह सांसद किसी जमाने में भारतीय कुश्ती संघ का अध्यक्ष हुआ करता था बृजभूषण शरण सिंह पहलवान ब्रज भूषण के खिलाफ काफी गंभीर आरोप लगा चुके हैं अगर आम आदमी पर इस तरीके के आरोप होते तो ना जाने वह कब जेल की सलाखों के पीछे पहुंच गया होता लेकिन मामला भारतीय जनता पार्टी के सांसद का है केंद्र की सरकार खेल के प्रति कितनी गंभीर है इसके बारे में हम बात नहीं कर रहे हम बात कर रहे हैं क्या भारतीय पहलवान देश के लिए ओलंपिक में मेडल ला पाएंगे या नहीं यूनाइटेड वर्ल्ड रेसलिंग के नियम के अनुसार भारतीय कुश्ती संघ की चुनावी प्रक्रिया 10 जून तक पूरी हो जानी थी लेकिन इस बारे में अभी कोई भी चर्चा नहीं हो रही यूनाइटेड वर्ल्ड रेसलिंग ने भारतीय कुश्ती संघ को 45 दिन में खड़ा करने की बात कही थी जिसके चलते खेल मंत्रालय ने एडहॉक कमेटी बनाकर भारतीय ओलंपिक संघ को चुनाव कराने की जिम्मेदारी सौंप दी जिसकी अंतिम तारीख 10 जून 2023 है 5 जून हो गई अभी तक रिटर्निंग अफसर नियुक्त नहीं किया गया है जिसकी देखरेख में चुनाव होने हैं रिटर्निंग अफसर एक रिटायर्ड जज होता है अगर चुनाव ना हुए तो भारतीय पहलवानों के लिए पेरिस ओलंपिक की राह खत्म हो जाएगी ऐसा जानकार मान कर चल रहे हैं 2024 ओलंपिक खेलों के लिए पहलवानों के क्वालिफिकेशन की प्रक्रिया सितंबर में प्रारंभ होगी 16 सितंबर 23 से इसकी शुरुआत वर्ल्ड चैंपियनशिप से होगी जिसमें ओलंपिक के लिए कुल 60 पुरुष 30 महिला कुल 90 का कोटा होगा इसके बाद अगले साल अप्रैल में एशियन क्वालीफायर्स प्रारंभ हो जाएंगे जिसका कोटा 24 पुरुष 12 महिला 36 का होगा लेकिन भारतीय पहलवान प्रैक्टिस छोड़कर सड़कों पर धरना प्रदर्शन आंदोलन के लिए मजबूर हैं अपने अस्तित्व की लड़ाई लड़ रहे हैं ऐसे में सबकी नजर इसी बात पर टिकी हुई है भारतीय कुश्ती संघ को अपना नया अध्यक्ष कब मिलेगा कब यह मामला पूरी तरीके से सुलझेगा कब खिलाड़ी रिंग में पहुंचेंगे कब से अपनी प्रैक्टिस स्टार्ट करेंगे तमाम ऐसे सवाल जिनका कोई जवाब ही अभी तक नजर नहीं आ रहा भारत अभी तक ओलंपिक और विश्व कप में कुश्ती में मेडल लाता रहा है लेकिन अब ऐसा लगता है मैडल का सूखा एक बार फिर से नजर आने वाला है देश की खेल प्रेमी जनता इस बात का बेसब्री से इंतजार कर रही है कभी यह मामला खत्म हो
