 बाढ़ नियंत्रण के लिए अन्तर्राज्यीय बैठक का आयोजन 7 जून को अति वर्षा तथा बाढ़ से निपटने के लिए अन्तर्राज्यीय बाढ़ नियंत्रण समिति की बैठक 7 जून को आयोजित की जा रही है।

बैठक कलेक्ट्रेट के मोहन सभागार में प्रात: 11.30 बजे आरंभ होगी। इस संबंध में कमिश्नर अनिल सुचारी ने बताया कि बैठक में अतिवृष्टि की स्थिति में मध्यप्रदेश तथा उत्तरप्रदेश के बांधों से पानी के छोड़े जाने में समन्वय, वर्षा तथा बाढ़ संबंधी सूचनाओं के आदान-प्रदान एवं बाढ़ की स्थिति में राहत और बचाव कार्य में समन्वय की समीक्षा की जाएगी। बैठक में उत्तरप्रदेश के सिरसी, मेजा तथा अदवा बांधों के जल भराव की सारणी एवं ऑपरेशन मैन्युअल को पुनरीक्षित करने के संबंध में चर्चा की जाएगी। बैठक में आयुक्त विन्ध्यांचल मण्डल मिर्जापुर, पुलिस महानिरीक्षक विन्ध्यांचल मण्डल मिर्जापुर, अतिरिक्त पुलिस महानिदेशक रीवा तथा उत्तरप्रदेश के मिर्जापुर के कलेक्टर एवं पुलिस अधीक्षक, रीवा जिले के कलेक्टर एवं पुलिस अधीक्षक शामिल होंगे। बैठक में बाणसागर परियोजना, जल संसाधन विभाग, टोंस हाईड्रल परियोजना तथा उत्तरप्रदेश के जल संसाधन विभाग के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी शामिल होंगे।
