Rewa Today Desk : रीवा का 76 साल का स्टूडेंट कर रहा है दिल्ली में ज्योतिष की पढ़ाई 11 सब्जेक्ट में कर चुका है एम ए कहते हैं पढ़ाई की कोई उम्र नहीं होती पढ़ने वाले परिस्थितियों कैसी भी हो पढ़ ही डालते हैं कुछ ऐसे होते हैं जो जिंदगी भर पढ़ाई करना चाहते हैं आज हम आपको ऐसे ही एक 76 साल के छात्र के बारे में बताने जा रहे हैं जिसे पढ़ने की ठानी तो 11 सब्जेक्ट में एम ए का डाला उसे शख्स का नाम है राम लोटन पांडे जिनका जन्म 1 जुलाई 1948 को रीवा जिले के सिरमौर के दुबगवां गांव में हुआ जब आपकी उम्र डेढ़ साल थी
पिता का साया आपके सर से उठ गया मां ने बड़े अभाव में आपको पाला ₹25 स्कॉलरशिप की वजह से 11वीं तक की पढ़ाई गांव में ही करने के बाद बीएससी करने के लिए रीवा के साइंस कॉलेज पहुंच गए बीएससी करने के बाद एमएससी करना चाहते थे इंजीनियर बनना लेकिन आर्थिक हालात ऐसे नहीं थे साइंस कॉलेज से बीएससी करने के तुरंत बाद स्कूल में नौकरी लग गई स्कूल में बच्चों को पढ़ने लगे इसी दौरान जनगणना में बेहतर काम के लिए आपको राष्ट्रपति पुरस्कार से भी नवाजा गया 30 जून 2010 में आप रिटायर हो गए फिलहाल आप दिल्ली के इग्नू से ज्योतिष में एम ए कर रहे हैं.
पढ़ाई में बचपन से ही रुझान था इंजीनियर बनने की ख्वाहिश थी इंजीनियर ना बन पाने के बावजूद अलग-अलग सब्जेक्टों में आपने पढ़ाई कर डाली पीएचडी इसलिए नहीं कि उसमें ज्यादा वक्त लगता इतने वक्त में दो सब्जेक्ट में एम ए हो जाता आपने इतिहास, अर्थशास्त्र, हिंदी, समाजशास्त्र, राजनीति विज्ञान, दर्शनशास्त्र, मनोविज्ञान, लोक प्रशासन गांधी एंड पीस स्टडी ग्राम विकास, भारतीय प्राचीन इतिहास, संस्कृति एवं पुरातत्व से एम ए कर डाला. राम लोटन पांडे अटल बिहारी वाजपेई से प्रभावित थे. जिस तरीके से अटल बिहारी वाजपेई ने अपने पिता के साथ परीक्षा दी थी. ठीक उसी तरीके का कारनामा अपने अपने बेटे के साथ इग्नू की परीक्षा में कर डाला.

His name is Ram Lotan Pandey, who was born on 1 July 1948 in Dubagwan of Sirmaur in Rewa district. This happened in the village when you were one and a half years old.
Your father’s shadow left your head. Your mother raised you in great poverty. Because of ₹ 25 scholarship, after studying till 11th in the village itself, he went to Science College of Rewa to do B.Sc. After doing B.Sc, he wanted to do M.Sc. to become an engineer but the financial conditions were not like that. Immediately after doing B.Sc. from Science College, he got a job in a school. He started teaching children in the school. During this time, he was also awarded the President’s Award for his good work in the census. You retired on June 30, 2010.
Presently you are doing MA in Astrology from IGNOU, Delhi. Since childhood, I was interested in studies. I aspired to become an engineer. Despite not being able to become an engineer, you studied different subjects and did PhD, not because it took much time. You did MA in two subjects in that much time.
You would have done MA in History, Economics, Hindi, Sociology, Political Science, Philosophy, Psychology, Public Administration, Gandhi and Peace Study, Rural Development, Indian Ancient History, Culture and Archaeology. Ram Lotan Pandey was influenced by Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The way Atal Bihari Vajpayee had given the exam with his father. He did exactly the same thing with his son in the IGNOU exam.
