इन्होंने भगवान को भी नहीं छोड़ा शंकर जी के परिसर को भी नहीं छोड़ा परिसर  को भव्य बनाने के नाम पर घटिया निर्माण किया पूरे उज्जैन में किसी का कुछ नुकसान नहीं हुआ शिवा महाकाल परिसर के छोड़कर वहां पर जो भी नवनिर्माण हुए जमकर भ्रष्टाचार हुए जिसको लेकर मध्य प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष कमलनाथ ने भी सवाल उठाए हैं महाकाल परिसर में नुकसान को लेकर रविवार शाम से ही चर्चाओं का बाजार गर्म है क्या मध्यप्रदेश में भाजपा से शंकर जी नाराज हो गए जिस तरीके से कर्नाटक में बजरंगबली नाराज हुए थे अगर ऐसा हुआ तो नवंबर दिसंबर में होने वाले चुनाव में भारतीय जनता पार्टी का क्या होगा यह सवाल भी राजनैतिक गलियारों में प्रदेश की फिजा में गूंज रहा है महाकाल परिसर में जमकर भ्रष्टाचार हुआ इसकी जीती जागती मिसाल रविवार को मिल गई भारी भरकम मूर्तियां तेज हवा का बोझ नहीं उठा पाए और नीचे गिर गई यह महाकाल की नगरी में बड़ा भ्रष्टाचार कांग्रेसी कह रहे हैं कांग्रेसियों का कहना है भारतीय जनता पार्टी जब महाकाल की नहीं हुई महाकाल परिसर में जमकर भ्रष्टाचार मचाया तो प्रदेश की जनता की क्या होगी कमलनाथ मूर्तियां खंडित होने को लेकर काफी नाराज हैं उन्होंने तो एक कमेटी ही बना डाली जो जांच करके कार्यवाही करने की बात कहेगी
