बैठक में यह रहे मौजूद कांग्रेस पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष मल्लिका अर्जुन खड़गे की मौजूदगी में सोनिया गांधी, राहुल गांधी, सहित कांग्रेस पार्टी के कई वरिष्ठ सदस्य पार्टी महासचिव मध्य प्रदेश प्रभारी प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष जैसे तमाम लोगों ने एक बैठक के बाद सर्वे के आधार पर आए नाम पर गंभीरता से विचार विमर्श करते हुए, नाम का फैसला कर लिया है. कांग्रेस पार्टी के मध्य प्रदेश के अध्यक्ष कमलनाथ ने पत्रकारों को जानकारी देते हुए साफ तौर से ऐलान कर दिया है. अगले हफ्ते तक प्रत्याशियों की लिस्ट सार्वजनिक कर दी जाएगी.

अगले हफ्ते तक क्यों यह सवाल गूंज रहा है प्रत्याशियों के दिल दिमाग में कांग्रेस पार्टी के मध्य प्रदेश के वरिष्ठ नेता अजय सिंह राहुल ने पिछले दिनों साफ तौर से इशारा किया था, हम सनातन धर्म के लोग हैं, अभी समय ठीक नहीं चल रहा, समय आने पर प्रत्याशियों के नाम का ऐलान कर दिया जाएगा, कांग्रेस के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष कमलनाथ ने भी अजय सिंह की बात पर मोहर लगाते हुए एक हफ्ते के बाद की बात कही है .इसका सीधा सा अर्थ है पितृपक्ष समाप्त होने के बाद नवदुर्गा के पहले दिन कांग्रेस की लिस्ट आ सकती है. फिलहाल सबको इंतजार रहेगा पितृ पक्ष के खत्म होने का. इसी दौरान मध्य प्रदेश सहित पांच राज्यों में चुनाव की तारीखों का ऐलान भी चुनाव आयोग कर सकता है .उसके बाद ही कांग्रेस अपने पत्ते खोलेगी. अब यह साफ तौर से तय हो गया है. फिलहाल भारतीय जनता पार्टी जिसकी मध्य प्रदेश में लंबे समय से सरकार है
