Rewa Today Desk :लैंगिक समानता का मतलब महिला-पुरुष को समान अधिकार कहां डॉ. अर्पिता अवस्थी ने वही महिला और पुरुष समाज के मूल आधार हैं,यह कहना था डॉ अखिलेश शुक्ला का रीवा के शासकीय ठाकुर रणमत सिंह महाविद्यालय के समाज कार्य विभाग द्वारा लैंगिक समानता पर वैल्यू एडेड सर्टिफिकेट पाठ्यक्रम प्राचार्य डॉ. श्रीमती अर्पिता अवस्थी के निर्देशन एवं विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ अखिलेश शुक्ल के संयोजन में प्रारंभ किया गया। उल्लेखनीय की यह पाठ्यक्रम छात्रों के लिए निःशुल्क है। पाठ्यक्रम के उद्घाटन अवसर पर समाज कार्य के छात्र और छात्राओं द्वारा मां सरस्वती की वंदना प्रस्तुत की गई।

उद्घाटन सत्र की अध्यक्ष प्राचार्य डॉ अर्पिता अवस्थी ने कहा कि लैंगिक समानता का मतलब महिला-पुरुष को समान अधिकार। उन्होंने कहा कि लैंगिक समानता का सीधा अर्थ होता है कि समाज में महिला तथा पुरुष के समान अधिकार, दायित्व तथा रोजगार का समान अधिकार हैं। वैल्यू एडेड पाठ्यक्रम के संयोजक विभागाध्यक्ष समाज कार्य डॉ अखिलेश शुक्ल ने छात्रों को इस पाठ्यक्रम के उद्देश्यों को बताते हुए कहा कि ‘समानता एक सुंदर और सुरक्षित समाज की वह नींव है जिस पर विकास रूपी इमारत बनाई जा सकती है। लैंगिक समानता क्या है? आखिर क्यों यह किसी भी समाज और राष्ट्र के लिये एक आवश्यक तत्त्व बन गया है?

क्या बदलते समाज में यह प्रासंगिक है? लैंगिक समानता का अर्थ यह नहीं कि समाज का प्रत्येक व्यक्ति एक लिंग का हो अपितु लैंगिक समानता का सीधा सा अर्थ समाज में महिला तथा पुरुष के समान अधिकार, दायित्व तथा रोजगार के अवसरों के परिप्रेक्ष्य में है। इसी तथ्य के मद्देनज़र सितंबर, 2015 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा की उच्च स्तरीय बैठक में एजेंडा 2030 के अंतर्गत 17 सतत विकास लक्ष्यों को रखा गया, जिसे भारत सहित 193 देशों ने स्वीकार किया। इन लक्ष्यों में सतत विकास लक्ष्य 5 के अंतर्गत लैंगिक समानता के विषय को भी शामिल किया गया है। स्पष्ट है कि हमारे समाज के विकास के लिये लैंगिक समानता अति आवश्यक है। महिला और पुरुष समाज के मूल आधार हैं।

विशिष्ट अतिथि डॉ शालिनी दुबे ने अपने उद्बोधन में कहा कि सामाजिक, आर्थिक और राजनीतिक प्रगति के बावजूद वर्तमान भारतीय समाज में पितृसत्तात्मक मानसिकता व्याप्त है। इसके कारण महिलाओं को आज भी एक ज़िम्मेदारी समझा जाता है। महिलाओं को सामाजिक और पारिवारिक रुढ़ियों के कारण विकास के कम अवसर मिलते हैं, जिससे उनके व्यक्तित्व का पूर्ण विकास नहीं हो पाता है। विशिष्ट अतिथि डॉ. महेश शुक्ला ने पाठ्यक्रम की उपादेयता पर विस्तार से चर्चा की।

उन्होने लैंगिक असमानता के कारकों का विस्तार से विश्लेषण किया। इस पाठ्यक्रम में छात्रों को डॉ.एस.पी.शुक्ला, डॉ. रचना श्रीवास्तव, डॉ. शाहेदा सिद्दीकी, डॉ. मधुलिका श्रीवास्तव, डॉ. स्वाति शुक्ला, डॉ. मोहम्मद परवेज, डॉ. सुरेंद्र यादव, डॉ. मुकेश एंगल, डॉ. अनिल द्विवेदी, डॉ. गुंजन सिंह, डॉ. शिव बिहारी कुशवाहा, डॉ प्रियंका तिवारी, डॉ प्रियंका पांडे, डॉ. निशा सिंह एवं अन्य विशेषज्ञों द्वारा व्याख्यान दिया जाएगा, जो उनके व्यक्तित्व परिमार्जन के लिए सहायक होगा। पाठ्यक्रम के उद्घाटन सत्र के कार्यक्रम का संचालन डॉ प्रियंका तिवारी एवं आभार प्रदर्शन डॉ शिव बिहारी कुशवाहा के द्वारा किया गया। कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने में डॉ. गुजंन सिंह, डॉ. मंजू श्री मिश्रा, डॉ. सोनी सिंह बघेल, प्रो. पूजा शुक्ला तथा प्रो. अर्पिता मिश्रा का उल्लेखनीय योगदान रहा।

Value Added Certificate Course on Gender Equality started in the Social Work Department of TRS College

Value Added Certificate course on gender equality was organized by the Social Work Department of Government Thakur Ranmat Singh College, Rewa under the direction of Principal Dr. Smt. Arpita Awasthi and coordination of Head of Department, Dr. Akhilesh Shukla. Started in. It is noteworthy that this course is free for students. On the inaugural occasion of the course, the students of social work and students presented the Vandana of Mother Saraswati.

Principal Dr. Arpita Awasthi, chairperson of the inaugural session, said that gender equality means equal rights for men and women. He said that gender equality simply means that men and women have equal rights, responsibilities and equal employment rights in the society. Dr. Akhilesh Shukla, Head of the Department of Social Work, Convenor of the Value Added Course, while explaining the objectives of this course to the students, said that ‘Equality is the foundation of a beautiful and safe society on which a building of development can be built.

What is gender equality? After all, why has it become an essential element for any society and nation? Is it relevant in a changing society? Gender equality does not mean that every person in the society should be of one gender, but the simple meaning of gender equality is in the perspective of equal rights, responsibilities and employment opportunities for men and women in the society. In view of this fact, in the high-level meeting of the United Nations General Assembly in September 2015, 17 Sustainable Development Goals were placed under Agenda 2030, which were accepted by 193 countries including India. The topic of gender equality is also included in these goals under Sustainable Development Goal 5.

It is clear that gender equality is very important for the development of our society. Women and men are the basic foundation of society.
Special guest Dr. Shalini Dubey said in her address that despite social, economic and political progress, patriarchal mentality is prevalent in the present Indian society. Because of this, women are still considered a responsibility. Women get less opportunities for development due to social and family conventions, due to which their personality is not fully developed. Special guest Dr. Mahesh Shukla discussed the usefulness of the course in detail.

He analyzed the factors of gender inequality in detail. In this course, students were taught by Dr. S.P. Shukla, Dr. Rachna Srivastava, Dr. Shaheda Siddiqui, Dr. Madhulika Srivastava, Dr. Swati Shukla, Dr. Mohammad Parvez, Dr. Surendra Yadav, Dr. Mukesh Angle, Dr. Lectures will be given by Anil Dwivedi, Dr. Gunjan Singh, Dr. Shiv Bihari Kushwaha, Dr. Priyanka Tiwari, Dr. Priyanka Pandey, Dr. Nisha Singh and other experts, which will be helpful in improving their personality. The program of the inaugural session of the course was conducted by Dr. Priyanka Tiwari and the vote of thanks was conducted by Dr. Shiv Bihari Kushwaha. Dr. Gujan Singh, Dr. Manju Shri Mishra, Dr. Soni Singh Baghel, Prof. were instrumental in making the program successful. Pooja Shukla and Prof. Arpita Mishra had a notable contribution.
