रीवा के टीआरएस कॉलेज में संयुक्त राष्ट्र लोक सेवा दिवस पर एक सेमिनार का आयोजन किया

सेमिनार में बोलते हुए डॉक्टर अखिलेश ने बड़े ही आसान शब्दों में समाजशास्त्र विभाग में लोक सेवा और समाज कार्य का अनन्य सम्बन्ध विस्तार से बताएं देश इस समय आजादी के 75 वर्ष अमृत महोत्सव मना रहा है जिसके चलते पूरे देश के अलग-अलग हिस्से में विभिन्न तरीके के कार्यक्रम का आयोजन हो रहा है जिसके चलते रीवा के शासकीय ठाकुर रणमत सिंह महाविद्यालय रीवा के समाज कार्य विभाग में संयुक्त राष्ट्र लोक सेवा दिवस पर प्राचार्य डॉ. अर्पिता अवस्थी के निर्देशन में सेमिनार का आयोजन किया गया।

सेमिनार की मुख्य वक्ता डॉ. स्वाती शुक्ला शाासकीय कन्या महाविद्यालय रीवा तथा संयोजक डॉ. अखिलेश शुक्ल विभागाध्यक्ष समाज कार्य थे। डॉ. स्वाती शुक्ला ने अपने उद्बोधन में कहा कि पूरे विश्व में 23 जून को संयुक्त राष्ट्र लोक सेवा दिवस मनाया जाता है। इस दिवस पर हम लोक सेवको की भूमिका के महत्व को विश्लेषित करते है। समाज के विकास मे लोक सेवको की भूमिका अत्यन्त महत्वपूर्ण है। संयोजक डॉ. अखिलेश शुक्ल ने संगोष्ठी के उद्देश्यो बताते हुए कहा कि समाज के सामुदायिक विकास में लोक सेवकों की भूमिका अत्यन्त महत्वपूर्ण है। लोक सेवा और समाज कार्य का अनन्य सम्बन्ध है। एक सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता की भूमिका भी लोक कल्याण की होती है। समाज कार्य के विद्यार्थी सामुदायिक विकास और सामाजिक कल्याण के क्षेत्र में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका का निर्वाह करते है। छात्रो को उन्होने बताया कि संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा द्वारा 20 दिसंबर 2002 को एक प्रस्ताव पारित किया गया था। इस प्रस्ताव में 23 जून को संयुक्त राष्ट्र लोक सेवा दिवस के रूप में मनाने का निर्णय लिया गया था। इस दिन को मान्यता देने के उद्देश्य से संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने 2003 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र लोक सेवा पुरस्कार कार्यक्रम की स्थापना भी की गई है। डॉ. गुजंन सिंह ने छात्रों को सम्बोधित करते हुए कहा कि लोक सेवा दिवस पर हम सार्वजनिक संस्थाओं की नवीन और उत्कृष्ट उपलब्धियों की पहचान करने का प्रयास करते है एवं समाज कार्य के छात्रों को सामुदायिक विकास की ओर प्रेेरित करते है। संगोष्ठी का संचालन डॉ. शिवबिहारी कुशवाहा एवं आभार प्रर्दशन डॉ. प्रियंका तिवारी ने किया

The seminar was organized under the guidance of The main speaker of the seminar was Dr. Swati Shukla, Government Girls College, Rewa and the coordinator, Dr. Akhilesh Shukla, Head of Social Work Department. Dr. Swati Shukla said in her address that United Nations Public Service Day is celebrated on 23rd June all over the world. On this day we analyze the importance of the role of civil servants. The role of civil servants is very important in the development of the society. Convener Dr. Akhilesh Shukla while stating the objective of the seminar said that the role of public servants is very important in the community development of the society. There is a unique relationship between public service and social work. The role of a social worker is also of public welfare. Social work students play an important role in the field of community development and social welfare. He told the students that a resolution was passed by the United Nations General Assembly on 20 December 2002. In this resolution, it was decided to celebrate June 23 as United Nations Public Service Day. The United Nations has also established the United Nations Public Service Awards Program in 2003 for the purpose of recognizing this day. Addressing the students, Dr. Gujan Singh said that on Public Service Day, we try to recognize the innovative and outstanding achievements of the public.
