Rewa Today :नामांकन के समय उम्मीदवार को देना होगा नये बैंक खाते का विवरण-कलेक्टर

Rewa Today Desk :कलेक्टर एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्रीमती प्रतिभा पाल ने बताया कि भारत निर्वाचन आयोग के निर्देशानुसार विधानसभा चुनाव लड़ने के इच्छुक प्रत्याशियों को नया बैंक खाता खुलवाना अनिवार्य होगा। नये बैंक खाते से ही विधानसभा क्षेत्र के प्रत्येक उम्मीदवार निर्वाचन व्यय कर सकेंगे। निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा विधानसभा निर्वाचन 2023 के लिए प्रत्येक उम्मीदवार के लिए अधिकतम 40 लाख रुपए की व्यय सीमा निर्धारित की गई है। मौजूदा या पूर्व के बैंक खातों के जरिए निर्वाचन व्यय की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी।

उन्होंने बताया कि नाम निर्देशन पत्र दाखिल करने के कम से कम एक दिन पूर्व यह नया खाता खोलना आवश्यक है। इस खाते से पूर्व में किसी भी तरह का ट्रांजेक्शन नही होना चाहिए। प्रत्याशियों को रोजाना के खर्च निर्वाचन व्यय लेखा पुस्तिका में दर्ज करना अनिवार्य है। सभी खर्च नये बैंक खाते से किए जाएंगे। नामांकन के समय अभ्यर्थी द्वारा नये बैंक खाते का विवरण प्रस्तुत करना होगा। यह बैंक खाता प्रदेश में किसी भी स्थान एवं किसी भी बैंक या डाकघर में खोला जा सकता है।

Collector and District Election Officer Mrs. Pratibha Pal said that as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, it will be mandatory for the candidates wishing to contest the assembly elections to open a new bank account. Every candidate of the assembly constituency will be able to spend election expenses only from the new bank account. The Election Commission has set a maximum expenditure limit of Rs 40 lakh for each candidate for the Assembly elections 2023.

Election expenditure will not be allowed through existing or previous bank accounts. He told that it is necessary to open this new account at least a day before filing the nomination papers. There should not be any previous transaction from this account. It is mandatory for the candidates to record their daily expenses in the Election Expenditure Account Book. All expenses will be made from the new bank account. At the time of enrolment, the candidate will have to submit the details of the new bank account. This bank account can be opened at any place in the state and in any bank or post office.
