मध्य प्रदेश सरकार ने 6 मई को एक आदेश जारी किया था जिसमें द केरल स्टोरी को टैक्स फ्री कर दिया गया था मध्यप्रदेश शासन वाणिज्य कर विभाग के आदेश क्रमांक 1145/ 2023/ 5 मई 23(सेक्शन -वन ) को राज शासन द्वारा आदेश को तत्काल प्रभाव से 10 मई को निरस्त कर दिया गया इस बात की सूचना प्रमुख सचिव मुख्यमंत्री मध्यप्रदेश शासन स्टाफ ऑफिसर मुख्य सचिव विशेष कर्तव्य अधिकारी मंत्री वाणिज्य कर अपर मुख्य सचिव वित्त मध्यप्रदेश शासन प्रमुख सचिव जनसंपर्क विभाग आयुक्त वाणिज्य कर मध्य प्रदेश इंदौर समस्त कमिश्नर समस्त कलेक्टर मध्यप्रदेश को भेज दिए गए हैं आरपी श्रीवास्तव उप सचिव मध्य प्रदेश शासन वाणिज्य कर विभाग के द्वारा द केरल स्टोरी तमाम तरीके के विवाद में शुरू से ही फंसी नजर आ रही थी जिस दिन से फिल्म रिलीज हुई उसको लेकर तरह तरह की बातचीत प्रारंभ हो गई थी

द केरल स्टोरी लड़कियों को लेकर बनी फिल्म है धर्म का तड़का जमकर लगा है द केरल स्टोरी एक फिल्म तो महज एक फिल्म है लेकिन कुछ लोग का काम होता है विवाद करना जिस तरीके से पठान को लेकर विवाद हुआ था उसके बाद वह फिर सुपर डुपर हिट हुई थी अब द केरल स्टोरी को लेकर एक बार फिर से विवाद हुआ भारतीय जनता पार्टी के तमाम बड़े नेताओं ने पूरे तामझाम से इस फिल्म को देखा प्रचार प्रसार जमकर हुआ कुछ विश्लेषक समीक्षक इसको कर्नाटक में चुनाव हो रहे हैं इसको जोड़कर भी देख रहे थे लेकिन 6 तारीख के फैसले को 10 तारीख को पलट दिया गया क्यों पलटा गया यह भी एक सवाल है फिलहाल बड़ी बात यही है द केरल स्टोरी 4 दिन में ही टैक्स फ्री से टैक्स के दायरे में आ गई अब देखना है इस फिल्म को कितने दर्शक मिलते है फिलहाल कर्नाटक का चुनाव प्रचार का शोर खत्म हुआ 12 तारीख को परिणाम आएंगे ऐसे में द केरल स्टोरी का पहले टैक्स फ्री होना बाद में 4 दिन बाद ही टैक्स की छूट का वापस लिए जाना तमाम तरीके के सवालों को जन्म देता है इसे भी हम खोजने का प्रयास करेंगे
