समाज कार्य विभाग में नव प्रवेशित छात्र और छात्राओं के लिए दीक्षारंभ सह प्रेरण कार्यक्रम प्राचार्य डॉ. श्रीमती अर्पिता अवस्थी के निर्देशन एवं विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ अखिलेश शुक्ल के संयोजन में संपन्न हुआ। कार्यक्रम में विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में डॉ. आर.पी .चतुर्वेदी डॉ एस.पी. शुक्ल डॉ संजय शंकर मिश्र डॉ. सन्ध्या शुक्ला डॉ शाशि त्रिपाठी की उपस्थिति उल्लेखनीय रही।

प्राचार्य डॉ. अर्पिता अवस्थी ने छात्रों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि विद्यार्थियों को अनुशासन में रह कर निरंतर सीखने का प्रयास करते रहना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि समाज कार्य एक अति महत्वपूर्ण पाठ्यक्रम हैं। इसलिए सभी छात्र और छात्राएं इसे सैद्धांतिक और व्यावहारिक रूप में अपना कर अपने संपूर्ण व्यक्तित्व का परिमार्जन करें। विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ अखिलेश शुक्ल छात्रों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि छात्र-छात्राओं को लक्ष्य निर्धारित कर योजना के अनुरूप कार्य करते हुए लक्ष्य को पाने का प्रयास करना चाहिए।

उन्होंने कहा कि हमारा कॉलेज मुख्य रूप से शिक्षा के दौरान सैद्धांतिक और व्यावहारिक दोनों पहलुओं के शिक्षण के माध्यम से छात्रों को एक अच्छा इंसान बनाने और एक सफल समाज कार्य का विशेषज्ञ बनाने पर केंद्रित है। हमारे छात्र हर तरह की परीक्षाओं में सफल हुए हैं और मुझे पूरा यकीन है कि सभी वर्तमान छात्र भी सफलता की चोटी तक पहुंचेगें। प्रोफेसर अखिलेश शुक्ल द्वारा नव प्रवेशित छात्रों को महाविद्यालय में होने वाली गतिविधियों के संबंध में जानकारी, महाविद्यालय की ऐतिहासिक विरासत तथा समाज कार्य पाठ्यक्रम में होने वाली गतिविधियों से छात्रों को परिचित कराया गया। विशिष्ट अतिथि डॉ एस पी शुक्ल अपने छात्रों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि आज के छात्र हमारे कॉलेज और राष्ट्र का भविष्य हैं। मुझे दृढ़ता से विश्वास है कि आपकी ईमानदारी हमेशा आपको एक अच्छा और जिम्मेदार इंसान बनने में आपकी सहायता करेगी। शिक्षकों का कर्तव्य न केवल शिक्षा प्रदान करना बल्कि छात्रों में अनुशासन और गुणों को भी विकसित करना है। समाज कार्य विभाग इस दिशा में क्रियाशील है।

वेलकम पार्टी का आयोजन
दीक्षारंभ सह प्रेरण कार्यक्रम के द्वितीय सत्र में तृतीय सेमेस्टर के छात्र-छात्राओं द्वारा प्रथम सेमेस्टर के छात्र-छात्राओं के लिए वेलकम पार्टी का आयोजन किया गया। सर्वप्रथम तृतीय सेमेस्टर के छात्रों ने माननीय अध्यक्ष विशिष्ट अतिथि और प्रथम सेमेस्टर के छात्रों का तिलक लगाकर स्वागत किया। इस अवसर पर डॉ. मो. परवेज डाँ.गुजंन सिंह डॉ. शिवबिहारी कुशवाहा डॉ. प्रियंका तिवारी आदि ने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका का निर्वाह किया। समाज कार्य विभाग के छात्र/छात्राओं द्वारा प्राचार्य डॉ. अर्पिता अवस्थी का शाल एवं श्रीफल से सम्मान किया गया।

मिस्टर फ्रेशर एवं मिस फ्रेशर का हुआ चयन
समाज कार्य के प्रथम सेमेस्टर के छात्रों के बीच कई साहित्यिक एवं संस्कृतिक प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया। मिस्टर फ्रेशर के रूप में आशीष पाण्डेय मिस फ्रेशर के रूप में साक्षी शुक्ला बेस्ट स्टाईल जनक नंदनी गुप्ता, बेस्ट स्माईल सुरभि गुप्ता बेस्ट कास्टयूम छात्र अमन पाण्डेय का चयन हुआ। कार्यक्रम का सफल संचालन रागिनी पाण्डेय एवं सुभाष यादव एवं आभार प्रदर्शन स्वप्लिन द्विवेदी के द्वारा किया गया।

TRS College of Rewa conducted initiation cum induction program for newly admitted boys and girls. Students should set targets and work as per plan.

The commencement cum induction program for the newly admitted boys and girls in the Department of Social Work was conducted under the direction of Principal Dr. Mrs. Arpita Awasthi and in conjunction with Head of the Department, Dr. Akhilesh Shukla. Dr. R.P. Chaturvedi and Dr. S.P. were present as special guests in the program. The presence of Shukla, Dr. Sanjay Shankar Mishra, Dr. Sandhya Shukla, Dr. Shashi Tripathi was noteworthy. Principal Dr. Arpita Awasthi, while addressing the students, said that students should remain disciplined and keep trying to learn continuously. He said that social work is a very important course.

Therefore, all the students should adopt it in theoretical and practical form and refine their entire personality. Head of the Department, Dr. Akhilesh Shukla, while addressing the students, said that the students should set targets and try to achieve them by working as per the plan. He said that our college mainly focuses on making the students a good human being and a successful social work expert through teaching of both theoretical and practical aspects during education. Our students have been successful in all types of examinations and I am sure that all the present students will also reach the pinnacle of success. Professor Akhilesh Shukla informed the newly admitted students about the activities taking place in the college, the historical heritage of the college and the activities taking place in the social work course. Special guest Dr. S.P. Shukla while addressing his students said that today’s students are the future of our college and nation. I strongly believe that your honesty will always help you in becoming a good and responsible person. The duty of teachers is not only to impart education but also to develop discipline and virtues in the students. The Social Work Department is active in this direction.

Welcome party organized
In the second session of the commencement cum induction program, a welcome party was organized by the students of third semester for the students of first semester. First of all, the students of third semester welcomed the Honorable Chairman, the special guest and the students of first semester by applying tilak. On this occasion Dr. Mohd. Parvez Dr. Gujan Singh, Dr. Shivbihari Kushwaha, Dr. Priyanka Tiwari etc. played important roles. Principal Dr. Arpita Awasthi was honored with shawl and quince by the students of Social Work Department.

Mr. Fresher and Miss Fresher were selected
Many literary and cultural competitions were organized among the students of first semester of Social Work. Ashish Pandey as Mr. Fresher, Sakshi Shukla as Miss Fresher, Best Style Janak Nandini Gupta, Best Smile Surbhi Gupta, Best Costume Student Aman Pandey was selected. The program was successfully conducted by Ragini Pandey and Subhash Yadav and vote of thanks was expressed by Swaplin Dwivedi.
