शस्त्रधारी 20 अक्टूबर तक शस्त्र थाने में जमा करायें अन्यथा होगी कड़ी कार्यवाही शस्त्र लाइसेंस हुए निलंबित

Rewa Today Desk : भारत निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा राज्य में विधानसभा चुनाव 2023 की घोषणा किये जाने के साथ ही संपूर्ण रीवा जिले में आदर्श आचरण संहिता प्रभावशील हो गई है। इस दौरान जन सुरक्षा एवं कानून व्यवस्था की स्थिति बनाये रखने तथा निर्वाचन के स्वतंत्र, निष्पक्ष और शांतिपूर्ण सम्पन्न कराये जाने को दृष्टिगत रखते हुए यह आवश्यक हो गया है कि जिले के अनुज्ञप्तिधारियों के शस्त्र निलम्बित किये जायें तथा अस्त्र-शस्त्र विधानसभा का निर्वाचन सम्पन्न होने तक जमा कराये जायें ।

कलेक्टर एवं जिला दण्डाधिकारी श्रीमती प्रतिभा पाल ने निर्वाचन प्रक्रिया पूरी होने तक सभी शस्त्र लायसेंस निलंबित करने के आदेश दिये हैं। सभी शस्त्रधारियों को उनके शस्त्र 20 अक्टूबर तक निकटम थाने में अनिवार्य रूप से जमा कराने के आदेश दिये गये हैं। यह कार्यवाही आयुध अधिनियम 1959 की धारा 17 की उपधारा 3 में प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए की गयी है। आदेश व्यक्तिश: तामीली संभव नहीं है इस लिए इसे एक पक्षीय रूप पारित किया जा रहा है। जनसंपर्क विभाग विभिन्न संचार माध्यमों से आमजनता को इसकी सूचना उपलब्ध करायें। आदेश का उल्लंघन करने पर भारतीय दण्ड प्रक्रिया की धारा 188 तथा आयुध अधिनियम 1959 के तहत कार्यवाही की जायेगी। यह आदेश लोक कर्तव्य में लगे पुलिस बल के अधिकारी, कर्मचारी, आबकारी निरीक्षकों, वन विभाग के कर्मियों, बैंक के सुरक्षा कर्मियों एवं प्राइवेट औद्योगिक प्रतिष्ठानों व परिसरों में लगे सुरक्षा कर्मियों, न्यायाधीशगण, कार्यपालिक दण्डाधिकारियों एवं पुलिस अधिकारियों तथा अतिविशिष्ट व्यक्तियों की सुरक्षा में लगे सुरक्षा कर्मियों पर लागू नहीं होंगे।

With the announcement of Assembly elections 2023 in the state by the Election Commission of India, the Model Code of Conduct has become effective in the entire Rewa district. During this period, keeping in view the maintenance of public safety and law and order situation and the free, fair and peaceful conduct of elections, it has become necessary that the weapons of the licensees of the district should be suspended and the weapons should be kept in their possession till the completion of the assembly elections. Collector and District Magistrate Mrs. Pratibha Pal has ordered to suspend all arms licenses till the completion of the election process. All armed men have been ordered to compulsorily deposit their weapons at the nearest police station by October 20. This action has been taken using the powers granted in sub-section 3 of Section 17 of the Arms Act 1959. The order is not possible to be served personally, hence it is being passed ex-parte. The Public Relations Department should provide this information to the general public through various communication mediums. In case of violation of the order, action will be taken under Section 188 of the Indian Criminal Procedure and Arms Act 1959. This order applies to the security of police force officers and employees engaged in public duty, excise inspectors, forest department personnel, bank security personnel and security personnel engaged in private industrial establishments and premises, judges, executive magistrates and police officers and VIPs. Will not apply to security personnel.
