Rewa Today Desk : 19 नवम्बर 1835 आज ही के दिन वीरांगना लक्ष्मीबाई का जन्म हुआ था. जिन्होंने आजादी की लड़ाई में अंग्रेजों के छक्के छुड़ा दिए थे. झाँसी की महारानी लक्ष्मीबाई की जन्म जयंती पर रीवा टुडे उनको याद करता है. झांसी की रानी लक्ष्मीबाई ने जिस तरीके से अंग्रेजों के छक्के छुड़ा दिए थे, उसको याद करके आज भी लोग वीरता की दुहाई देते हैं, वीर हो तो ऐसा हो जैसे रानी लक्ष्मीबाई थी. खास तौर से महिलाओं के लिए कहा जाता है लक्ष्मीबाई बनो.

अंग्रेजों के सेनापति जनरल ह्यूरोज को जिस तरीके से झांसी की रानी लक्ष्मीबाई ने पराक्रम दिखाया था ,उसको देखकर कहा जा सकता है, सपने में भी लक्ष्मीबाई का पराक्रम जनरल ह्रयूरोज को दिखाता था। वह लिखता है लक्ष्मीबाई विद्रोहियों में सर्वाधिक वीर और सर्वश्रेष्ठ दर्जे की सेनानी थीं. झांसी की रानी लक्ष्मीबाई ने जिस तरीके से 1857 के स्वतंत्रता संग्राम मैं नाना साहब पेशवा तात्या टोपे के साथ मिलकर अंग्रेजों के छक्के छुड़ाएं, उसको लेकर सुभद्रा कुमारी चौहान ने लिखा भी है ,खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झांसी वाली रानी थी बुंदेलो के मुख से हमने सुनी कहानी थी. झांसी की रानी का पराक्रम ही था जिसने आगे चलकर पूरे देश में स्वतंत्रता की एक ऐसी अलख जलाई, जिसने आगे चलकर अंग्रेजों के खिलाफ पूरे देश में विस्फोट कर दिया, सारा देश बारूद का भंडार बन गया,हर ओर अंग्रेजों के खिलाफ जमकर संघर्ष हुआ और अंततः हमें आजादी मिली.

कवियत्री सुभद्रा कुमारी चौहान की “खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झांसी वाली रानी थी” को पढ़कर सुनकर आज भी लोग रानी लक्ष्मीबाई को याद करते हैं. बच्चों को उनकी वीरता की कहानी सुनाते हैं. ऐसी झांसी की रानी लक्ष्मीबाई को हमारा नमन.
