चुनाव आयोग कर्नाटक चुनाव के बाद पांच राज्यों में चुनाव कराने की कमर कस चुका है 40 सदस्यों के मिजोरम विधानसभा का कार्यकाल 17 सितंबर को समाप्त हो रहा है छत्तीसगढ़ और मध्य प्रदेश विधानसभा का कार्यकाल 3 और 6 जनवरी को समाप्त होगा राजस्थान और तेलंगाना विधानसभा का कार्यकाल 14 जनवरी और 16 जनवरी को समाप्त हो रहा है चुनावी पंडित यह मानकर चल रहे हैं केंद्र शासित प्रदेश जम्मू कश्मीर में भी गर्मियों में चुनाव हो सकते हैं जम्मू कश्मीर में चुनाव सर्दियों में होने हैं लेकिन ज्यादा सर्दी होने की वजह से चुनाव आयोग इस तरीके का फैसला ले सकता है या फिर 1 जुलाई से 31 अगस्त तक 62 दिनों तक चलने वाली अमरनाथ यात्रा से समापन के बाद जम्मू कश्मीर में चुनाव कराने का निर्णय चुनाव आयोग भेज सकता है इसी के साथ आंध्र प्रदेश अरुणाचल प्रदेश और उड़ीसा की विधानसभाओं का कार्यकाल भी अगले साल जून के आसपास खत्म हो रहा है उसी दौरान अप्रैल-मई में लोकसभा के चुनाव भी हो सकते हैं माना जा रहा है

इन राज्यों के चुनाव लोकसभा चुनाव के साथ चुनाव आयोग करा सकता है फिलहाल सबकी नजर छत्तीसगढ़ मध्य प्रदेश राजस्थान तेलंगाना मिजोरम पर आकर टिक गई है राजस्थान छत्तीसगढ़ में कांग्रेस की सरकार है तेलंगाना में चंद्रशेखर राव की सरकार है मध्य प्रदेश में भारतीय जनता पार्टी की सरकार मिजोरम की बात की जाए तो मिजोरम में मिजोरम नेशनल फ्रंट की सरकार है कांग्रेस पार्टी के सामने बड़ी चुनौती राजस्थान और छत्तीसगढ़ को बचाए रखना तो भारतीय जनता पार्टी के सामने मध्य प्रदेश के साथ छत्तीसगढ़ और राजस्थान जीतने का भी लक्ष्य है तेलंगाना में दोनों राष्ट्रीय पार्टियां इतनी मजबूत नहीं है उत्तर भारत के हिंदी भाषी बेल्ट में भारतीय जनता पार्टी काफी मजबूत है उसे अपनी मजबूती 23 में होने वाले चुनाव में बना कर रखी है जिसका असर 24:00 के चुनाव में देखने में नजर आएगा वहीं कांग्रेसी खेमे में कर्नाटका रिजल्ट के बाद काफी उत्साह नजर आ रहा है कांग्रेश मानकर चल रही है छत्तीसगढ़ राजस्थान के साथ वह भारतीय जनता पार्टी के मध्य प्रदेश भी छीन लेगी फिलहाल चुनाव आयोग इस साल के अंत तक चुनाव कराने की तैयारी में जुटा हुआ है तो सभी राजनीतिक दल अपने अपने हिसाब से गुणा भाग लगाने में जुट गए हैं मुद्दों का चयन किया जा रहा है अगर मुद्दों की बात की जाए तो चुनाव के अंतिम लम्हे में यह पूरी तरीके से गायब हो जाते हैं जिसका नजारा कर्नाटका में देखने में नजर आया था आम आदमी की समस्या महंगाई बेरोजगारी रोजगार की जगह अंतिम लम्हे में यहां पर बजरंगबली की मजबूत चुनौती देखने में नजर आएगी अब देखना दिलचस्प होगा इन पांच राज्यों में किन मुद्दों के आधार पर चुनाव होता है
