रीवा के टीआरएस कॉलेज के समाज कार्य विभाग द्वारा अंतरराष्ट्रीय गुमशुदा बाल दिवस पर  संवाद  जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें शासकीय ठाकुर रणमत सिंह महाविद्यालय के समाज कार्य विभाग के द्वितीय सेमेस्टर के छात्रों की असाइनमेंट कार्यशाला का आयोजन संवाद जागरूकता कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत प्राचार्य डॉ. अर्पिता अवस्थी के निर्देशन में सम्पन्न हुआ। असाइनमेंट कार्यशाला में समाज के विभिन्न आयामों पर छात्रों ने अपना प्रस्तुतीकरण किया। विशेष रूप से छात्रों ने गुमशुदा बालकों की समस्याएं पर अपने विचार प्रस्तुत किए। कार्यशाला के संयोजक समाज कार्य विभाग के विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ अखिलेश शुक्ल ने छात्रों को बताया कि सन 2001 से बच्चों की सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरुक करने के उद्देश्य से अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गुमशुदा बाल दिवस दुनिया के कई में मनाया जाता है। भारत में राष्ट्रीय अपराध अभिलेख ब्यूरो द्वारा प्रकाशित रिपोर्ट क्राइम इन इंडिया के अनुसार वर्ष 2021 में कुल 77,535  बच्चों (17,977  बालक, 59,544  बालिकाएं और 14 ट्रांसजेंडर)  के लापता होने की रिपोर्ट की गई है। वर्ष 2021 में लापता बच्चों की संख्या 2020 की तुलना में 30.8  प्रतिशत बढ़ी है, जो चिंता का विषय है।

डॉ शुक्ल ने कहा कि बच्चों का अपहरण एक गंभीर अपराध है। हम सब का यह दायित्व है कि हम ऐसे घृणित अपराध को रोकने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाएं। दुनिया भर में बच्चों की सुरक्षा को अहम मानते हुए उसके लिए जागरुकता लाने के उद्देश्य से यह दिन मनाया जाता है। समाज कार्य विभाग के द्वितीय सेमेस्टर के छात्रों ने भारत में सामाजिक समस्यांए, सामाजिक विघटन, अपराध, बाल अपचार, दहेज लिंग आधारित, साम्प्रदायिकता, भिक्षावृति, वेश्यावृत्ति, बेरोजगारी एवं मादक द्रव  व्यसन, एड्स ,परिवार परामर्श, मुददे, प्रक्रिया, एवं पद, भारत में परिवार परामर्श का क्षेत्र, समूह निदान, समूह गत्यात्मकता एवं सामूहिक अन्तःक्रिया निर्देशन, सामाजिक सामूहिक कार्य में अभिलेखन-अर्थ, सिद्धान्त एवं महत्व  सामूहिक कार्य में अभिलेखन के प्रकार। सामाजिक सामूहिक कार्य में मूल्यांकन, सामाजिक सामूहिक कार्य के अन्य क्षेत्र – स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा सामाजिक  सामूहिक कार्य वृद्धो एवं अशक्त व्यक्तियों के साथ सामूहिक कार्य, मानसिक मंदता, एवं अपचारियों कें साथ  व्यवहार एवं परामर्श विषय पर अपना प्रस्तुतीकरण दिया। कार्यशाला के सफल आयोजन में डॉ. गुजन सिंह, डॉ. शिवबिहारी कुशवाहा, डॉ. प्रियंका तिवारी आदि ने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई

A dialogue awareness program was organized on International Missing Children’s Day by the Social Work Department of TRS College, Rewa in which The assignment workshop of second semester students of Social Work Department of Government Thakur Ranmat Singh College was organized under the direction of Principal Dr. Arpita Awasthi under the dialogue awareness programme. In the assignment workshop, students made their presentation on various dimensions of society. In particular, students presented their views on the problem of missing children. The coordinator of the workshop, Dr. Akhilesh Shukla, Head of the Department of Social Work, told the students that since 2001, International Missing Children’s Day is celebrated in many countries of the world with the aim of creating awareness about the safety of children. According to the report Crime in India published by the National Crime Records Bureau in India, a total of 77,535 children (17,977 boys, 59,544 girls and 14 transgenders) have been reported missing in the year 2021.

 In the year 2021, the number of missing children has increased by 30.8 percent as compared to 2020, which is a matter of concern. Dr. Shukla said that kidnapping of children is a serious crime. It is the responsibility of all of us to take important steps towards stopping such heinous crime. Considering the importance of the safety of children around the world, this day is celebrated with the aim of bringing awareness to it. The second semester students of the Department of Social Work have studied social problems in India, social disorganization, crime, child abuse, dowry gender based, communalism, beggary, prostitution, unemployment and drug addiction, AIDS, family counseling, issues, procedures, and positions, Scope of family counseling in India, group diagnosis, group dynamics and group interaction guidance, social group work documentation-meaning, principles and importance, types of documentation in group work. Gave a presentation on evaluation in social group work, other areas of social group work – health, education, social group work, group work with old and disabled persons, mental retardation, and treatment and counseling of delinquents. Dr. Gujan Singh, Dr. Shivbihari Kushwaha, Dr. Priyanka Tiwari etc. played an important role in the successful organization of the workshop.
