चीता टास्क फोर्स की बैठक में इस बात का निर्णय किया गया कूनो अभ्यारण से 7 चीतो को कहीं दूसरी जगह शिफ्ट किया जाए सवाल उठता है आखिर क्यों और किस लिए तो हम आपको बता दें चीतो के बारे में प्रधान मुख्य वन संरक्षक वन्य प्राणी जसवीर सिंह चौहान वन विभाग के अपर मुख्य सचिव जेएस कंसोटिया को एक नोटशीट पिछले दिनों  भेजी है जिसमें लिखा है कूनो अभ्यारण से चीतो को शिफ्ट करना बेहद जरूरी है जिसमें उन्होंने वजह बताई है कुछ समय बाद यहां चीतो की संख्या क्षमता से ज्यादा हो जाएगी ऐसे में उनकी देखरेख करना काफी मुश्किल हो जाएगा अगर कोई महामारी फैल गई तो इस प्रजाति पर एक बार फिर से संकट आ जाएगा शायद उन्हें ना बचा पाया जाए जसवीर सिंह चौहान इसके पहले राष्ट्रीय बाघ संरक्षण प्राधिकरण को भी पत्र लिख चुके हैं उनका मानना है 7 चीतो को तत्काल कहीं और शिफ्ट करने की जरूरत है जिसके लिए राजस्थान का मुकुंदरा हिल्स नेशनल पार्क ही एकमात्र स्थान है जहां चीतों  को तत्काल शिफ्ट किया जा सकता है

इस पार्क की जलवायु चीतों के अनुकूल है यहां चैनलिंग जाली से गिरा क्षेत्र भी है वहीं दूसरी ओर वन्य प्राणी मुख्यालय 7 माह में  गांधी सागर अभ्यारण को तैयार करने का लक्ष्य लेकर चल रहा है मंदसौर के गांधी सागर अभ्यारण में  चीतो को शिफ्ट किया जाएगा इस बात का निर्णय मुख्य सचिव इकबाल सिंह बैंस ने गुरुवार को सीता टास्क फोर्स के सदस्यों के साथ बैठक करके लिया वन अधिकारी किसी महामारी और बाड़े में लंबे समय से रहने से होने वाली बीमारी से बचाने के लिए चीता को दूसरी जगह शिफ्ट करना चाहते हैं गांधी सागर और नौरादेही अभ्यारण चीतो के रहने के लिए चुना गया है गांधी सागर के लिए फिलहाल 15 करोड़ का बजट भी मिला है इसमें चैन लिंक फेंसिंग की जाएगी पहले कहा गया था हमने पूरी तैयारी कर ली है बड़े ही  तामझाम से प्रधानमंत्री को बुलाकर चीतो को छोड़ा गया कहा गया मध्यप्रदेश अब चीता एस्टेट हो गया है लेकिन जिस तरीके से तीन चीतो की मौत हुई उसको लेकर अधिकारियों के कान खड़े हो गए तत्काल ही नई प्लानिंग में जुट गए है चीता के लिए 2 नए अभ्यारण बनाने के रूप में

The climate of this park is favorable for cheetahs. On the other hand, the Wildlife Headquarters is aiming to prepare the Gandhi Sagar Sanctuary in 7 months. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains on Thursday decided to shift cheetahs to the Gandhi Sagar Sanctuary in Mandsaur.

 After meeting with the members of the task force, the forest officials want to shift the cheetah to another place to avoid any epidemic and disease caused by long stay in the enclosure. At present, a budget of 15 crores has also been received for Sagar, in which chain link fencing will be done.
