देश के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने पूरे विधि विधान के साथ धार्मिक अनुष्ठान के बाद अधिनम को नए संसद भवन मैं स्थापित कर दिया प्रधानमंत्री मोदी द्वारा नए संसद भवन के उद्घाटन का विपक्षी दलों ने विरोध किया था आधीनम के स्थापना के दौरान तमिलनाडु के संतो ने विधि विधान के साथ अनुष्ठान किया पूजा अर्चना की संतो ने संगोल सौंपा प्रधानमंत्री मोदी को जिसे नए संसद भवन स्थापित कर दिया गया प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने नई संसद में पहली बार बोलते हुए अपने 9 साल के सरकार के कामकाज का रिपोर्ट कार्ड पेश किया प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कोई भी होशियार आदमी 9 साल के कामकाज का आकलन करेगा तो कहेगा 9 साल भारत में नव निर्माण के रहे गरीब कल्याण के रहे प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा संसद की नई इमारत के निर्माण का गर्व है मुझे 9 साल में गरीबों के चार करोड़ घर बनाने का भी संतोष है आज जब हम इस भव्य इमारत को देखकर अपना सिर ऊंचा कर रहे हैं तो मुझे बीते 9 साल में बने 11 करोड़ शौचालय का भी संतोष है जिन्होंने महिलाओं की गरिमा की रक्षा की उनका सिर ऊंचा किया आज जब हम सुविधाओं की बात कर रहे हैं बीते 9 साल में गांव को जोड़ने के लिए 4 लाख  किलोमीटर से ज्यादा सड़कों का निर्माण किया आज हम इको फ्रेंडली इमारत को देखकर खुश है हमने पानी की एक एक बूंद बचाने का प्रयास किया 50,000 से ज्यादा अमृत सरोवर का निर्माण किया

आज जब हम उत्सव मना रहे हैं कि हमने नई संसद भवन का निर्माण किया है तो हमने देश में 30,000 से ज्यादा नए पंचायत भवन भी बनाए यानी पंचायतों से लेकर संसद भवन तक हमारी निष्ठा एक ही है हमारी प्रेरणा एक ही है देश का विकास प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने कहा लोकतंत्र हमारा संस्कार विचार और परंपरा उन्होंने कहा संसद की नई इमारत इस प्रयास का जीवन प्रतीक बनी है आज नए संसद भवन को देखकर हर भारतीय गौरव से भरा हुआ है इस भवन में विरासत भी है वास्तु भी है कला भी है कौशल भी है संस्कृति भी संविधान के स्वर भी आप देख रहे हैं कि लोकसभा का आंतरिक हिस्सा राष्ट्रीय पक्षी मोर पर आधारित है हम आपको बता दें नई लोकसभा की डिजाइन राष्ट्रीय पक्षी मोर से ली गई है राज सभा का हिस्सा राष्ट्रीय फूल कमल पर आधारित है नई सांसद के प्रांगण में राष्ट्रीय वृक्ष बरगद भी मौजूद है हमारे देश में अलग-अलग हिस्सों की विविधता इस भवन में उन सब को समाहित किया है देश के अलग-अलग हिस्सों से चुनिंदा सामानों को लाकर नए संसद भवन की स्थापना की गई है जो अपने आप में ऐतिहासिक है अनोखी है
